Remember your favorite creator possibly might be struggling with imposter syndrome and doubt and this timeline sucks.. so if you find yourself thinking “wow I really relate to this persons work” or that persons work gives you joy, you should probably tell them. It’s a hard time to be a creative.

I've been talking about this for a while, but I'm in an astronomical amount of debt on low income and it's actively preventing me from getting to a safe area for LGBTQIA+ people or afford healthcare. My genuine advice to people who want new releases fresh from the oven is become a reviewer and get arcs. Then you get to be ahead of everybody.
You do kinda have to get along with authors for this to work the best that it can tho.

I think it's interesting how book piracy brings out a lot of conservative (small c) views on theft and larceny. To be clear, I am anti-book piracy! I think, all things being equal, you should not pirate books.

I once asked a bookseller at a large indie store how many people would have to buy a book for it to get the attention of the store buyer and cause an additional order and they said: Three.
I see some book piracy discourse, and, to make a positive argument in favor of buying books, your marginal ability to influence what books get published and support the careers of writers you like is massive compared to most other forms of media.

I feel like people should also look at the game and it’s content. Cause from what I’ve seen it looks like the games featuring loads of what could be interpreted as possible zoophillia and zoosadism. Which to me I wouldn’t want to see anywhere on the internet.
