In contrast, Hotel Barcelona (the Swery/Suda collaboration) recently took all generative AI elements out of the game as the headline for a big patch that included additional quality of life additions and fixes.

The article is well worth a read; this information would never have come to light were it not for Steam's AI disclosure policy, and the game looks to be a rushed cash grab not involving Grasshopper studio.

Interesting side effect of letting Mooks cause flinch. Didn't occur that this means you can use friendly forces as defensive formations.
The AI I'm adding now is to let the Officer deal with this exact situation ("if get hit by Mooks -> lay about themselves with wild abandon") but... HUH. Neat! 🐭⚔️

i take frenzy damage every time i see someone go "well i just use it for the boring stuff". what are you TALKING about? if it's boring or unimportant, why are you putting it in? NPC dialogue is fertile ground for worldbuilding, creating verisimilitude, conveying important information, and hijinks!!
Buy a solo indie dev's game because I want to support them.
