Today, Nov 20th, is the Trans Day of Remembrance. I waited, very deliberately, to post this particular graphic today -- in part because, yes, it's the start of Week 2 of the GULA campaign, but also because 'Samsara' is very deeply linked to TDOR.

Almost to the end of these! This section of GULA is the only part that's ever seen prior publication -- AUGURY was printed on its own in Zoetic Press last year, but was always part of a group of four. Two others of those four have now been replaced/rewritten, but those four poems are the oldest-

Hello new people! There are....quite a lot of you! Time to tell you about my upcoming crowdfund!

GULA is an epic-length modernist/post-modernist poem about a place called Carrion City -- the shadowed wreckage of the perfect illusion. I'm crowdfunding this as part of the Book Bazaar-

Next up is the Northern Spotted Owl. This lovely creature is one of Canada's most endangered species, with only a small portion of habitat left in British Columbia. B.C. is currently aggressively trying to reintroduce the Northern Spotted, in part by eliminating the invasive species pushing it out-

Burrowing owls (Athene cunicularia) are another species at great risk in Canada. One of the smallest species of owls, they're primarily terrestrial, live in repurposed burrows of other species, and are active both by day and night. Active in prairie, savannah and grassland, burrowing owls-

That's right! Barn owls (Tyto alba), some of the most culturally recognizable owls, are actually endangered in Canada as well as 10 north and north-eastern states, and a species of special concern in others. This means that the species is at risk-

Cause I haven't been faggy enough on here lately.

Being raised/in school with Wab Kinee as kind of an "Indigenous/Social Studies Bill Nye" figure means that every time someone brings him up this is my mental picture:
