I was in a hollowed out church and there was a bunch of people fighting inside. I can kind of float sometimes so I was just enjoying jumping up through the rafters. No walls so looking out in any direct was beyond beautiful landscapes that changed through every move.

But that's kinda the whole point here. The instructor was correct by any standard any competent university is going to use. That standard conflicts with the worldview TPUSA and its allies hold. There's no compromise with these people.

this is mostly a byproduct of the sheer size of the U.S. in England you are never more than an hour's drive at most from a premier league stadium. that's why high school football is so big in Texas, for instance, because even a university team may be half a day away.
just a reminder that *lots* of countries have universities, and (to my knowledge) none of them but the U.S. treat their universities as largely minor league sports franchises
LSU is paying its previous football coach over $50 million NOT to coach there while likely guaranteeing Kiffin something approaching double that, all while having an academic hiring freeze and budget cuts across the board. What is the purpose of a university (rhetorical)?
