I told @irishgeordy.bsky.social that I would get her, & everyone else, a relatively light salad dressing recipe (in alt) This was my restaurant’s signature dressing for our Caesar, significant for its unnoticeable lack of anchovies. Didn’t have a pic of the salad, so here’s some radishes

My father’s mother in her early 20’s. She passed in December 2000 at 97. I just figured out that she had to be in her 40’s before she had children

These are my great grandparents after arriving from Bavaria in NYC, Emma & Henry Lapelle. Emma died during childbirth of my grandmother in 1903, while Henry passed away in 1907 from TB. My grandmother was raised by her aunt Greta, whom I vaguely remember meeting at a nursing home in the 70’s
