My entire life I've watched speculative scams rise and fall. Eventually they just get so obvious you can't pay attention to them, but AI and Crypto being tech based means we have to deal with them online constantly. Tupperware party is at least limited to the neighbourhood you live in.
Every economist worth their the pixels their words are strewn across says it's a bubble that's about to pop. But the people totally in on AI only listen to the guy with no credentials who says what they want to hear. Being correct is irrelevant, they want to feel like they're right

I've been doing video game VO since 2003. In my 20+ years, only ONE game has ever paid "royalties/residuals/bonus payments."

And that's ONLY because it's a game produced by professional voice actors who purposefully created a special contract for the game w/ SAG-AFTRA.

Ben and I did a lil date night painting the other day (even tho neither of us paint LOL) and it was really fun! We gave ourselves 10 minutes, then swapped canvases, and repeated 4 times till we had this at the end! I love how they both came out, definitely doing this again for another date night 🥰💖

Not to be the fun police but I do hope people know that Arc Raiders does use generative AI for voice acting, and by supporting the game you're letting higher-ups know that this is an okay practice.
