Yes! We are absolutely planning on doing a Let’s Watch on stream of Fallout Season 2 right when it comes out!

I may even do one of Season 1 leading up to it as a refresher and in hopes I can get a few more people watching as well. :)
Any way we could get you and pat to stream fallout s2 live?

I think Elden Rings open structure really did a lot to neuter it considering even finding certain bosses in a certain order makes them way tougher or easier, and the entire structure of the game is based around leaving and then coming back later with few exceptions.
I feel like the git gud mentality is finally starting to go away but maybe I'm just in healthy spaces or something

I have to admit that the Baldurs Gate 3 backseating was one of the reasons I dropped the game in the third act. It had gotten to the point where every single comment was either "turn around, go the other way" or "swap shadowheart/karlach/astarion" in for this scene now swap again every 10 feet.
So pat, what was the worst backseating you had to deal with?
November 27, 2025 at 5:29 PM
I've said it 100 times but I genuinely blame Namco Bandai and this trailer for over a decade of stupid shitheaded attitudes about these games. Before this trailer came out I remember people chatting about DeS and figuring out new ways to cheese bosses from outside the fog wall and everybody loved it

Hey there's a new space marine 2 patch coming out did they ever change how melee works in multiplayer to make it decent?

I've gotten to Rise's Sunbreak TWICE and stopped now. I remember binging the absolute fuck out of 4U all the way to the end of G. I think releasing them as the Ultimates really was a blessing this whole time. I remember following along Rise and Worlds expansion schedule and it sucked.
This is the whole reason I didn't buy MH Wilds. I'm starting to think they were right before to only give the US the "ultimate" versions of the 3DS games. I didn't play Iceborne or Sunbreak because I already "beat" those games and am actively avoiding Wilds to not make the same mistake.

I cannot imagine how insufferable people starting Elden Ring have it now with backseating. I'm so glad I hit it hard for like 12 days in a row doing 8 hour streams and was able to get farther than nearly anyone who wanted to backseat me.
I feel like the 2 year wait makes sense because more people have beat the game and so more people feel comfortable showing up without getting spoiled so they can hit you with the

Yeah digging through old versions of RE2 I'm not a big fan of how the game has 10 versions and at least 6 difficulties across all of them and only the hacked together Japanese Sourcenext port stapled onto the GoG version has them all. Just one version please.
That's not even necessarily how the Final Mix and International versions worked though. There were changes made between the Japanese and Western releases for those and then they decided to bring the Western versions to Japan with even more changes, because fuck you I guess.

To be blunt it gets a lot easier to wait as you get older. I'm streaming games and I still am letting tons of shit pass me by. If I was working a regular job I'd basically play 2-3 games a year, there'd be absolutely no reason for me to ever get anything on release. Also - 1/2
I have no problem buying a better version of a game 2-3 years later because I play games on release, its a replay incentive

I will not be crying about 60 dollars I paid 3 years ago, why would I consider this. I'm not lamenting the 15 bucks I spent at McDonalds last month either.
November 26, 2025 at 6:46 PM
I remember them saying they were definitely not going to do a Royal Edition and then, like you said, the last third just blazing by and leaving you with something like 30 extra days on 4 month calendar made me just not believe them at all.
As someone who never really was interested in the Persona games, but liked Metaphor, the incomplete and rushed nature of the last third of the game (an entire subcontinent and character arc reduced to a single confusing cutscene) has me -way- less interested in buying a "Complete" version.
Also like, Atlus did it so often and so consistently and so fast it always felt like you were paying to beta test the next one.

I'm in a weird place where I now have to weigh playing something on stream during the zeitgeist or getting 2 year on nostalgia views. People dodging the stream due to spoilers vs the worst backseating possible.
It's the natural consequence of games releasing like shit Day 1. If I'm gonna wait for it to be playable anyways what's waiting a little longer? It's honestly pretty rare for me to play a game the year it was released

Not to mention, in my experience, season passes can amount to nothing in the end. Or severely underdeliver, so you're basically paying for a 'maybe'. As opposed to waiting and knowing exactly what you're getting.
November 26, 2025 at 5:42 PM
If people have limited income and you literally always release an upgraded version of your game then it's a smart idea to wait. It's pretty obvious. Even games with season passes massively benefit from waiting, you can get the game + season pass for launch price on sale. Look at KCD2.
Sega has admitted sales of its games may be lower-than-expected due to players awaiting "definitive editions" before buying. https://bit.ly/4imXUqA

I have long posited that Daniel Craig's accent in Glass Onion is better than Knives Out because in Knives Out he is trying to do a real Southern accent and is bad at it but in Glass Onion he is just talking like Foghorn Leghorn, which is something a real gay Southern weirdo would do.

NVM, got to the Police Station, put 17 rounds into a hat zombie and the fucker didn't fall over. Nightmare mode is crazy
Digging through youtube videos and threads this is actually really confusing. I found a dreamcast LP of nightmare mode and it appears to be the same as Arrange Hard mode in the Classic Rebirth Sourcenext. I'm not sure what nightmare mode people are talking about where Zombies don't fall down
Surprisingly kind of hard to find a good answer, wikipedia says the PC versions were based off of Dual Shock, so I would think SourceNext is Japanese Dual Shock?

That's fascinating that there's no version of the game that has all aspects of it.
One of them has no Auto-Aim
November 25, 2025 at 6:41 PM
Messing around with the GoG version of RE2 modded with the Sourcenext Port, does anybody know what each of these difficulties are? There's Easy/Normal/Hard for Original and Arranged modes. It appears that Original is Japanese Placement and Arranged is US, but I can't tell the difference otherwise

I was expecting a lot worse from For Whom The Bell Tolls in KCD2, but it was a really fun interesting quest. Granted, I went in with completely maxxed thievery and nearly maxxed speech so that might have something to do with it.
