Whenever indie devs use AI, it hurts their sales potential and retention because it’s a 🚩red flag for generalized unprofessionalism and cut corners.

Getting real art from a pro will make you look like a pro.

If you're a solo dev/small indie team looking for art or logos please don't turn to genAI. I would honestly rather folks reach out to a designer and offer like rev share alongside a smaller up front cost to get something made by a person.

Story idea:
When the value of gold takes a surprising drop, an ancient dragon rouses from a deep slumber to learn his horde of gold is now worth nothing.

Forced with potential eviction from his cave, he has to get a job at an upscale, casual, island-themed clothing store.

i know this has been talked to death but it’s absolute cuckoo bananas that toby fox had a dream abt a game he wanted to make, decided he wasn’t yet skilled enough to make that game, went on to make a spiritual predecessor to his dream game just to get the hang of it, and THAT game was undertale
