Undergoing puberty as an adult does not "ruin" your voice--there is much to mourn with the change, but I feel more at home in this voice even though I am rebuilding a relationship with it from the ground up all over again. I sound like *myself*. I am free to speak without policing the sound.

I'm one of the few non-binary voice actors who has vocally transitioned while recording.

Here's an example of a role I worked before and during puberty: Enkidu from the FATE series.

I've also authored trans-centric speech therapy curriculum alongside trans Speech Language Pathologists.

More than that, recognizing what performances make me feel DISEMPOWERED helps me identify what makes me feel EMPOWERED. I would not have started pursuing non-binary roles if I had not accepted that certain performances of femininity put me at a DISADVANTAGE.

NO! I'm an actor who knows themselves and what they bring to the table--and I'm damn good at it. It is precisely the strength of that perspective that makes me so present when reading.

I am not the actor that can do everything, and I have no interest in it. I'm a speciality piece, for specific perspectives--some male, some female, mostly non-binary. I shine in finding humor in situations that would rip most others in half, and am interested in telling stories about perseverance.

"Labels" can work as shorthand to expeditiously communicate what you are. But they're only as useful as they are relevant to you. You are not beholden to any label.

If-- at any point-- a label no longer represents you? That's fine! Don't be afraid of change.
