I read the piece. You shouldn't. He dismisses the "No Kings" protests as liberals in blue cities. He invokes Rosa Parks, as if rural white people in the 60s loved everything that the movement then was doing. "We need a movement but not this one" is a core centrist tact these days.

It's funny that Biden's reasoning for personally intervening on behalf of Smotrich and Ben-Gvir not being sanctioned was that they were "democratically elected". Firstly since when does the US care about that, and secondly it's worse because he had Blinken ask the UK not to sanction them either.

2) As I recall, there was no discussion of the substance of some of the conservative students’ beliefs. Not all conservative students are racists & anti-Semites. Not all liberal students are non-racists & non anti-semites. BUT, consider this story when we think of those previous articles.

I ask myself this all the time because I just never had this kind of belief system. I don't get it. I'm not pretending I didn't have any biases that i never did anything bigoted or sexist, but group texts dedicated to being awful is weird
