A musician, Oriana Korol, was peacefully playing clarinet with her protest band outside ICE facilities in Portland, OR.

When the band started playing “Ghostbusters,” ICE thugs suddenly poured outside, slammed her into the mud, arrested her and took her to a jail 9 miles away in Vancouver, WA.

This is something fans are desperate to ask about. The planned movie, ICE ADOLESCENCE, was officially cancelled by MAPPA, which left many fans heartbroken as they loved the series dearly. We know this is a sensitive topic, and you may not be able to discuss it, but fans would be incredibly grateful for any insight you could offer as to what went wrong or why the movie was ultimately cancelled.

Hideo Katsumata: I can’t talk about the details, as that includes some very private matters. But if you ask whether it’s a creative or business issue, the reasons stem from the creative side. The main reason is that it couldn’t be made due to creative reasons. Since it was an original animation, the people involved—including the creators and the animation studio, MAPPA… among the creators, on the creative side, a situation arose where it just became impossible to proceed with production.

That we saw such a quick reversal does arguably support that this might have been a technical issue as they stated, but like I said before, the fact that CR's PR has been so rough lately that it's hard to take anything they say at face value is its own massive problem

I basically only got a PS5 to play Spider-Man 2, and while I don't necessairly regret that, it is the only time I even found myself second guessing a console purchase in hindsight since a lot of the other stuff I own are games I could have played on PS4

The PS5/Xbox Series X generation felt like the most pointless console upgrade of the past two decades, so I have a hard time seeing how they're gonna justify this. And I say that as someone who does regularly use my PS5 even if mostly just for Zenless Zone Zero at this point

This show was just plain delightful and the charm of its characters and setting almost never failed to make me smile. Could tell it rushed the story a bit and likely would have been even better with twice the runtime, but as is its still one of my favorite anime of the year

Saw this movie for the first time in a couple of decades as part of a recommendation exchange with @queenira.bsky.social and had a fun time. Kinda miss the simplicity of 90's kids movies and a lot of the slapstick was pretty good
