They are in session for like 5 days out of 30 and instead of addressing the affordability crisis, MAGA are sticking their noses into private health care decisions

Marjorie Taylor Greene Claims U.S. House Will Vote on MAGA Bill to Jail Doctors and Parents for Providing Medically Necessary Care to Transgender Youth This afternoon, Georgia Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene announced that, in exchange for her support for the National Defense Authorization Act, the U.S. House will vote on her bill to charge doctors with a Class C Felony for providing medically necessary, best practice care to transgender young people. The bill, which had been stalled, would subject health care providers to fines and potential jail time for providing care that is recommended by every major medical organization in the country. The bill could also implicate parents who simply support their children in accessing or administering the medication they are prescribed. Human Rights Campaign President Kelley Robinson released the following statement: “Every family should have the freedom and privacy to go to the doctor and get the care their child needs. But politicians like Marjorie Taylor Greene and her enablers, who are breathlessly obsessed with using their power to terrorize transgender people, believe they know better than parents and doctors. Now, anti-equality members of the House may consider a bill to put doctors in prison just for doing their jobs. That could mean a pediatrician facing jail time for providing the care they were trained to provide. It could mean a parent being handcuffed and tossed into a police car because they went to the pharmacy and administered their child’s medication as prescribed. Our leaders should be working out a solution to the impending crisis of soaring health care costs and ensuring every child has access to quality health care – not dreaming up new ways to use the power of government to tear people’s lives apart. We will not rest until this bill is defeated.”

Final does ban trans women from fully participating in women's sports at military academies
The NDAA should invest in our military, not target minority communities for exclusion. While we're grateful that most anti-LGBTQI+ provisions were removed, the GOP kept one anti-trans provision in the final bill—and that's one too many. We're committed to repealing it. Travelers visiting the United States from countries like Britain, France, Germany and South Korea could soon have to undergo a review of up to five years of their social media history, according to a proposal filed on Tuesday by U.S. Customs and Border Protection. The change would affect visitors eligible for the visa waiver program, which allows people from 42 countries to travel to the United States for up to 90 days without a visa as long as they first obtain electronic travel authorization. In a document filed on Tuesday in the Federal Register, C.B.P. said it plans to ask applicants for a long list of personal data including social media, email addresses from the last decade, and the names, birth dates, places of residence and birthplaces of parents, spouses, siblings and children. Under the current system, applicants from visa waiver countries must enroll in the Electronic System for Travel Authorization program. They pay $40 and submit an email address, home address, phone number and emergency contact information. The authorization is good for two years.

Transition is a matter of free will and freedom. Trans people are going to do it anyway and you cannot stop them.

We are full human beings with the right to decide our lives for ourselves and no one has a right to stand in the way of that.
