So yeah, if you're represented by a Republican in a district that was carried by less than 20 points, tomorrow would be a good day to call and demand that the ACA subsidies continue.
The good news is Republicans in Congress are shitting their pants right about now

I love my new story, though I’m not certain anyone else will :) there’s a lot of philosophical meanderings and a strange brand of Christianity involved. Didn’t realize I’d get so in the weeds when I decided to write about a runaway angel

If you're trapped at a family Thanksgiving today, you can always say "Please excuse me, I have to read Alex's free gay short story where a shy college guy realizes he kinda likes being the center of attention" and go lock yourself in the bathroom.

You're welcome 🦃
You've got that "I need some silly, sexy gay short story action in my life" look in your eye again, so here you go.

If you love the "I shouldn't do this, I shouldn't enjoy this, but I just can't stop..." slippery slope then I think you might like Scooter's story. Attention is one hell of a drug...

Gorgeous colorizations of trans history images,

and a lot of incredible stories, including many lesser-known to many (A Zapatista colonel, a "transvestite pass" issued in 1928, the Scottish nobleman who the courts ruled should inherit his baronetcy in the 60s... for example...)

This is very good. Clear, calm, factual, and devastating for proponents of bans on puberty blockers for trans youth.

Puberty blockers: why politicians overriding doctors sets a dangerous precedent
The government’s ban on puberty blockers undermines clinical expertise and targets trans youth with a policy that lacks evidence, consistency and fairness.

My brain just created an entire Reddit thread about tide pods. Including ways to make your own. And debates about eating them. Really, brain? This is how you spend your sleeping time?

Tonight's the night!!! If you're in Portland, stop by the Rose City Book Pub between 4 and 9 pm to hear nine amazing authors read and to share your own work! Let's gather to raise money for hungry people in Oregon -- and to have a really terrific time.

Big big storm last night led to power outage. That’s fine, no big deal, totally anticipated based on the storm. My generator takes a minute to get started, but we get there. I turn on my laptop to write and… Oh! I have internet! In the middle of a power outage!

Why is not having power the morning after an intense storm kind of… cozy? Sure, it’s a little inconvenient, but I’ve got my gas stove and fireplace, so I’m fine. Maybe it’s mostly just an excuse to rest more :)

And here's a starter pack of people who are writing and drawing trans men and mascs in erotica and romance!

You gotta just block these accounts without interacting. They're doing this the night before No Kings so they can selectively grab quote posts and replies about how nasty people are being. It's extremely transparent. Just block and move on.
Yes, it does look like the government accounts joining Bluesky are real, including Homeland Security and the White House. They're tweeting about it on X.

I am absolutely appalled that California's AG didn't sign on, and also deeply frightened given @governor.ca.gov's shift to the right.
On Friday 18 blue state attorneys general BLASTED the Federal Trade Commission, telling it to back off trans youth healthcare and warning of an insidious attempt to reshape the regulation of medicine in the US.

And nobody covered it.

There is no measured way to say what I am about to say.

If the Supreme Court agrees with the Trump administration to end birthright citizenship, we must end this current Supreme Court.

I do not say this lightly.

every trans person I've spoken to is feeling the Drag Down right now. not everybody has fallen into despair but we're all feeling it creeping in around the edges, doing our best to fight it. things are bad. if you know a trans person, look after them.
