It’s so strange how we can discover whole new subcultures if we just linger a little too long on a pickle video

There’s an astounding number of people producing pickle content out there

It’s like the algorithm was waiting for that extra second of attention & it pounced. AHA! HAVE ALL THE PICKLES

Sharing some pics that Mon shared with me; every year my family has Thanksgiving out in the Arizona desert because it’s purty. The Sonoran Desert is quite lush, and recent rains made it more so. Some cactuses were even blooming!

Is there a wiki that explains how the Aliens can stay hydrated when they salivate that much? It just gushes out

Also why do they have those outer teeth if the inner teeth are gonna do the biting? Do they just anchor the massive salivary glands?

Wake Up Dead Man was awesome and whether you see it in theatres or on Netflix soon, it’s a good chewy mystery with wonderful character work

I have committed bloggery, a rare event, because a novelette that’s been out of print has been resurrected, mostly, even revised and expanded: kevinhearne.com/the-new-old-...

I got to listen to the original Springsteen recording of “Blinded by the Light” today & wow is it different from the cover.

Springsteen: He was blinded by the light, cut loose like a deuce

Manfred Mann: He was blinded by the light, wrapped up like a douche

Either way: not good for that guy

Alberta has collected more than $1 billion in cannabis revenue.

That's the most, per capita, of all provinces and territories.

By far.

It's nearly quadruple what Quebec has collected, per person.

one of my uncles is banned from thanksgiving after he brought a giant spread of artisanal cheese, engaged in a planned confrontation with my cousins who were hosting and called them assholes, and then left and TOOK THE CHEESE AWAY

Heck yes, what Krista said. He’s made all these trade deals recently with Indonesia, Sweden, U.A.E, and more that escape me, but he’s doing exactly what’s needed. He’s made more deals than the guy who promised ninety deals in ninety days, eh?
Mark Carney hasn't stopped travelling since becoming Prime Minister, and honestly this has big "showing my ex what he's missing" vibes.

And I kinda love it actually.
At the #G20 Summit in Johannesburg, Canada forged new partnerships in trade, energy, AI, tech, sustainability, and defence. We’re building big things in Canada — and these nations want to build with us.
