To heal our divided nation I propose splitting Game of the Year awards into two categories:

- Game of the Year That’s 3D and You Use a Sword and/or Gun to Explode a Guy
- Game of the Year That’s Some Gay Bullshit Indie Meditation on Grief or Whatever

I have volumes of ugly tracts about how Jews, Germans, Finns, Hungarians, Poles, and "Papists" can't possibly acclimate to American life because they are hereditary degenerates.
What I always find fascinating about comments like this is that they have been made about literally every immigrant group throughout American history: Germans, Irish, Miller's Jewish ancestors, etc.
Stephen Miller is now arguing that assimilation is fundamentally impossible and that certain cultures are not compatible with Western civilization

No lie, I would have absolutely lost it lol - was jamming just watching the video.
Okay, the crowd going nuts like someone just scored a touchdown at the Super Bowl all *through* the KDH performance is a hell of a thing to see hear/see:

"Conservative groups, funded by fossil fuel magnates, spend $1B/yr interfering with public understanding of what is happening to our world. Few investments rival the return they've gotten from evangelicals."

An oldie but goodie makes the link between fossil fuels, climate denial, and U.S. religion.
How Fossil Fuel Money Made Climate Change Denial the Word of God

Beautifully put - I love it. I love the fact that we can play music written 100 and 200 years and enjoy it - because people liked music then and we like music now.
To me it’s easy to express it. At the heart of all music is an experience, emotion, feeling, connection, or a moment captured and shared by the artist. Music has long been one of the things humans have created and experienced to live. AI and machines aren’t capable of those things.

People are cute and precious. “Trying to find a way to articulate my hatred of ai-generated music that won’t come off as snobbish” - bless you. I tell people straight up I think it’s lame as hell and weird. Further, and I am so serious: Why would I listen to ai music when I could listen to Beyoncé?
I’ve been trying to find ways to articulate my hatred of AI-generated music that won’t come across as snobbish, but most of what I have to say about it can be boiled down to this:

None of the artists I like in any genre, regardless of era, make music that can be accurately predicted by a computer.

One more on this, I am 99% positive I’m seeing this “fake seller selling fake stamps” scam in Houston because I recently looked up Forever Stamps. So, how does that work? Is Facebook in on it? Or it’s just regular data mining for ads, but that doesn’t make sense tbh
Not to be a snitch, but is it not illegal to sell fake stamps? Is that not a thing? Surely it is, but also what happens when someone uses a counterfeit stamp? (Or is caught using counterfeit stamps rather?)

If you want AI, first you have to take care of your people. You have to have REPLICATORS before you get HOLODECKS, you fucking assholes.

If EVERY human is taken care of, you can pretend to make art. Your $25 entropy credits can buy 0.0003% of an AI CEO's yacht or support a real human. Easy choice.

They try to make you feel like a child for believing basic stuff like “best not to be a sleezeball” - very lame.
yep. also really can't overstate how much nuzzi is very much the product of an environment that rewards amoral ambition and frowns on people who sincerely believe anything
