It really doesn't help that the gameplay is mediocre at best, the visuals are sanitized and scrubbed of any actual visual identity, and the monetization is a FOMO-fueled, exploitative disaster. I truly despise Fortnite.
This may make me uncool, but it genuinely bothers me that the most popular video game children play features stuff like Scooby Doo walking around on two legs shooting what looks too much like a real assault rifle at Spider-Man, who also has a gun to shoot people with.
