Great stuff. @mikedrucker.bsky.social really captures @ichotiner.bsky.social's voice. But I think Santa actually comes off better here than like 3/4 of Chotiner's interviewees (mainly I guess because Santa really believes he's doing good; he's not bullshitting, he's just deluded).

I have had so many long conversations with seniors about stuff and if they only watch 24 hour news, and I don't care what channel, they are convinced the world is lawless, they're scared, and the know everyone is coming for them. No one believes me when I say crime is down.
