The way I look at it - making videos doesn’t make me happy, but I get joy from making fans of the vids happy.
I used to resent vid work for no longer making me happy, but now that I have that job satisfaction from my other career, the pressure is no longer there and the resentment’s gone with it.

Sounds kinda similar to what happened with Caddicarus where he got burnt out on regular uploads, so started focusing on the things he wanted to make instead. He actually did a Ted Talk about how much he hates that kind of "Content Creation" for it's own sake.

Almost completely free. The first bestiary was 100% my stuff with no changes. The two crossover ones I did had some tweaks and rewrites but even those allowed for a ton of freedom.
So far all the games I’ve worked on have given me huge amounts of creative space, which has been amazing.
