That's the million dollar question. It's an explosives factory so they can explode from any sort of accident but this particular one at this particular time? It would be investigated but I doubt our government has the capacity.

Unclear. It's good in the sense that the world simply cannot fight a protracted military conflict with traditional munitions. Bad because that could incentivize other war means such as nuclear bombs, cyber attacks, drone warfare etc.

It's truly comical that the largest source of TNT for the US before 2022 was in Eastern Ukraine. That facility is gone. It's now Poland but they scaled up to help defend eastern Europe and supply Ukraine. Israel basically demolished the remaining stockpiles bombing Gaza.

This article covers a lot of the issues here. I've been hearing that basically the world is out of munitions. Russia has a leg up because they've been to reindustrialize but it's still not enough. The cold war stockpiles are gone.

This will effectively cripple the US military capacity to fight prolonged conflicts beyond the occasional targeted strike. Meanwhile, Hegseth is gutting the military leadership capacity. It's truly a perfect storm of stupidity and bad luck.

The current munitions stockpile for the US for things like artillery shells, JDAM bombs etc. would be depleted in less than a week for a major conflict in Asia (i.e. China invades Taiwan) and the US basically has no production capacity at the moment.

Anyone else think it's odd that the US just lost one of its last major munitions producer on the day the Nobel peace prize was awarded? The world has basically run out of high explosives and has no immediate capacity to scale back up to produce it again. Could be coincidence but it's kinda spooky.

Sure, they think the work force is all liberal deep state but as we saw with DOGE, they had to hire so many back because they needed them for critical things like, I don't know, keeping airplanes from colliding and forecasting hurricanes. But most importantly, they've gutted federal law enforcement.

The Trump admin being incredibly vindictive to the federal work force and threatening to withhold pay and conducting mass layoffs are really self defeating moves because they need a staffed work force for to actually enact the policies they want.

This is horrifying. Now she'll be placed with men in prison where she is at extreme risk of being raped and sexually assaulted. And then she has to register as a sex offender.

This is all because a man was ashamed he was attracted to a trans woman.
