I always think of the old hippy poster "what if schools were funded and the Air Force had to hold a bake sale," with the additional sting of the US government doesn't even pay to take care of the people in the military, just the weapons. Spend my taxes on caring for people! Including mail service!
The USPS posting a NINE BILLION DOLLAR LOSS!!! sounds terrible. Certainly worse than if you said "USPS costs thirty dollars per person per year" even though that means the same thing and more accurately describes a government service
