Totally not bizarre and definitely an expression of deep personal loss.

Trump at the Charlie Kirk memorial event: "They fired sniper rifles at ICE agents, and me. But I made a turn at a good time. I made a turn at a good time. Charlie couldn't believe it, actually."

I agree. The marginal gains are trivial for most use cases, and the "PhDs in your pocket" is really "sounds like someone with a PhD but actually requires the user to have one to know when it hallucinates."

"ChatGPT-3 cost $50 million; ChatGPT-4 $500 million; and ChatGPT-5 $5 billion. Improvement [among] generations has been so slim it is almost unnoticeable."

A recent analysis suggests the #AI bubble may be 17 times the size of the dot-com bubble + 4x larger than the 2008 housing bubble.

Concerning.

For all the legitimate worry about the abuse of the US National Guard, we should acknowledge that leaders and soldiers have behaved incredibly professionally. Stephen Miller's hopes for escalation will not be fulfilled by them.

It's ICE we all need to worry about.

Stephen froze like a deer in the headlights and pretended to have connection issues because he unintentionally gave away the game plan.

“Plenary authority is complete, absolute power over a specific area or issue, with no significant limitations."

Show people this clip. This is an insane slip up.

I spoke with @cnbc.com about digital store labels and their impacts for US retail: efficiency gains, automating a thankless task (changing price tags is like watching paint dry except more labor-intensive), but also challenges related to transparency and fears of surge pricing.
How digital price tags could change the future of grocery shopping
The rising popularity of electronic shelf labels in U.S. grocery stores could pave the way for dynamic pricing in brick-and-mortar food retailers.

Whether or not we’ve hit Peak Oil, we’re well past the point of Peak Oil Employment in the West.

And even with automation to support exploration, drilling, and operations, that dwindling workforce spells secular decline.
