As a company, we spend thousands of dollars a year on FOIA fees, not counting the money we spend on paying out-of-state burners, as well as my administrative assistant.

My guess (and this is just an educated guess), is that we'll spend around $3,000 this year just on fees.

Ninth Circuit just ended appeals from denial of anti-SLAPP motions in federal court, overturning 20+ years of precedent. From a practical standpoint, massively consequential case. From a principled standpoint, major blow to free expression. Bad.
