Off Topic: I'm glad that Mamdani is using his middle name. Racists often stress it as an antiblackness dog-whistle in the same way that Barack's middle name is stressed to engage in Islamophobia.

Honestly, writing so intensely all day that I didn’t even check Bsky until now has been absolutely delightful. So much petty to catch up on.
I can't get over the fact that they scheduled a televised Cabinet meeting, hyped it as a major event, planned it all out to show how active and in control Trump is ... and then he dozed off in the middle of it. Repeatedly.

I did not know we shared an agent. When I found out a few weeks ago, I ended our working relationship. I wish her (the agent) the best. I question her judgment.

This is what I’ll never understand. If you’ve been chased out of your profession because of bad behavior (i.e. “cancelled”), then wouldn’t that mean getting a new profession?
Like if a lawyer or a doctor gets “cancelled,” they have to go do something else.
