Grand juries keep seeing through the Trump DOJ's naked attempts to intimidate critics and political rivals — this time for accurately stating that illegal orders must be disobeyed. www.nytimes.com/2026/02/10/u...

Outrageous that DOJ attempted to bring charges against sitting members of Congress on this, but refreshing that the grand jury refused to go along with it.

Again, the Trump II era continues to show that ordinary citizens are more willing to stand up for democracy than many of our elites.
Breaking News: Prosecutors failed to secure an indictment against six Democrats who posted a video reminding members of the military to refuse illegal orders.

The rejection was a remarkable rebuke, suggesting that ordinary citizens did not believe that the lawmakers had committed any crimes.

Breaking news: The FBI relied heavily on previously debunked claims of widespread election irregularities in Georgia as it persuaded a federal judge to sign off on plans to seize 2020 voting records from Fulton County, court documents show.

NEW: The F.D.A. refused to accept an application from Moderna for its mRNA flu vaccine.

Its reason: The agency did not think Moderna compared the new vaccine to one of the best flu shots available. The company spent $750M+ on a 41,000 person study.

“If these deficiencies were the result of intentional action, the election records identified in Attachment B are evidence of violations of Title 52 U.S.C. §§ 20511 and 20701.”

IF???

It’s almost as IF the entire point of this warrant affidavit is to show probable cause of intentional violations!!
Reading the Fulton County affidavit now, which seems to say more about “if” there was probable cause than establishing that there actually is. www.nytimes.com/2026/02/10/u...

I made it 1/3 of the way through this before I gave up trying to make sense of a bunch of conspiratorial hearsay.

US Olympic Curling Team member speaks out against ICE:

"I'm proud to represent Team USA. But we'd be remiss if we didn't mention what's going on in Minnesota and what a tough time it's been. What's happening is wrong. There's no shades of gray."

If I was a federal magistrate who fell hook, line, and sinker for election conspiracy theories, I’d hide my head in a paper bag in the city of Atlanta for a few years in my shame.

I stopped at the same line 29 and did a doubletake on "I got the data from ZebraDuck" and "I did not get the data firsthand" 🤯
Somewhere, there is a federal magistrate who has been dazzled by bullshit.

Just to reinforce: The material was seized not by claiming the election was stolen but that ballots were mishandled, which may have been criminal. It's an end run, like saying that there's a national emergency that demands a tariff in response. It's an abuse of power, given the obvious intent here.
BREAKING: The supporting affidavit for the warrant to search Fulton County election records has been unsealed.

This is what Kagan was describing in Trump v CASA as the fallout of limiting injunctions for nonparties

"You're going to have individual by individual by individual, and all of those individuals are going to win, and the ones who can't afford to go to court, they're the ones who are going to lose."
Goldman: You said references to ICE as secret police encourages threats. The problem is you have it backwards sir. People are making valid observations about your tactics which are outright fascist. If you don’t want to be called a fascist regime, stop acting like one.
Rep. Delia Ramirez to DHS officials: "I have as much respect for you as I do for the last white men who put on masks to terrorize communities of color. I have no respect for the inheritors of the Klanhood and the slave patrol. Those activities were criminal and so are yours."
Here's what DHS doesn't want you to know: Working for ICE is one of the safest jobs in America — and last year was the second-safest year for the agency on record.

And the doxxing? It hasn't actually happened even once.

The rule of law depends on good faith compliance; judges can't effectively monitor and respond to every betrayal of the government's obligations under the Constitution and the law.

As others have noted, judges are going to have to start holding people in contempt or things will get even worse.
NEW: Federal judges are increasingly furious at what they see as a pattern / playbook of defiance by the Trump administration to court orders in immigration cases — in Minnesota and around the country.

Here’s a look at what they’re seeing: www.politico.com/news/2026/02...
How the Trump administration skirts — and defies — court rulings on ICE detentions
A POLITICO review of hundreds of cases brought by ICE detainees shows a pattern of noncompliance that has frustrated judges across the country.

Perhaps the most fundamental check against tyranny. And it is gravely threatened.

For those who might downplay the importance of due process, this should urge reconsideration.
