Super Bowl viewers Sunday speculated that 5-year-old Liam Conejo Ramos appeared in the halftime show. In fact, he has been in hiding with his family.

“He can’t sleep well at night. He wakes up three or four times a night screaming, ‘Daddy, Daddy,’” Liam's father Adrian Conejo Arias, said.

ICE has now spent over half a BILLION dollars just on purchasing warehouses around the country to convert into detention camps.

If these mega-camps are utilized to the full capacity ICE intends, they'll be the largest prisons in the country, with little real oversight. www.ajc.com/politics/202...

WaPo editorial board when TX imposes a legislative gerrymander: don't freak out guys! Not a threat to democracy!

When VA responds to TX with *referendum* on their own gerrymander: brass-knuckled hypocrisy, anti-democratic gamesmanship.

There is hypocrisy here, all right, but not from VA.

It’s just audience handjobbery with extra steps. You’re seeing Shakespeare for the umpteenth time, but this time you get to tell yourself that you’re being challenged and are tangling with difficult materials — unlike those mollycoddled university students you just made up

As a nation we need to set up a swear jar but for this paragraph all debt will be wiped out within a year I swear

Ohhhhh my god u think that trigger warnings risk mollycoddling the audience? should we tell everyone? Should we throw a party?should we invite the other five million interviews where someone said this.
paragraph 48: "In Mr. Trump’s second term, Ms. Britt has voted in line with the president 100 percent of the time."

I have managed to literally write hundreds of letters of recommendation over the past 20 years without even *once* referring to a student's physical appearance. I also have also yet to receive the kind of follow-up call described here, "asking for aesthetic detail".
This is the Yale professor's explanation for why he described the physical attractiveness of a student in an email to Epstein. He explicitly says he regrets nothing about their association.

Again, I'm so happy Yale hired David Brooks to restore trust.

Persistent reports of ICE using drones, including this highly suspected ICE drone photographed being launched from a suburban park. It’s a HoverFly Spectre, a “tethered” surveillance drone flown over unspooling fiber-optic cables. I’d be curious if anyone knows a civilian use case
