That narrative is largely a media creation. San Mateo county has about 245,000 registered Democrats to 66,000 registered Republicans and about 108,000 Independents. These were the election results last year. Right wing tech bros have always existed but they are a small minority… (1/2)

It’s interesting, in some counties, the No-side tracks the Republican share of the 2024 presidential vote quite closely. But the ones where Prop 50 outpaces the Dem result from 2024 … are ones that are heavily Latino
