Vaikka laumasuoja ei toimi isossa kuvassa, se toimii aina epidemia-aallon aikana. Eli kun tarpeeksi moni on saanut hiljattain koronan, koronan leviäminen hiipuu hetkeksi. Jos meinaa itse varoa tartuntaa, on näppärää jos ne jotka eivät varo, nappaavat sen heti, niin ei tarvii venata viikkoja. 😉

One reason for the "small minimum" can be a mix up with the standard solution. So to convert readings to actual virus numbers, they run a comparison with a standard, and sometimes the standard gets obsolete. They @THL usually correct it in the next few weeks.

Actually we had another small minimum (left pic) two weeks ago. The earlier year minimum was on the 100th day of the year.

The @metoffice.gov.uk use weather station observations to reconstruct changes in UK average temperature since 1884.

@copernicusecmwf.bsky.social produce the ERA5 reanalysis which reconstructs global weather every hour back to 1950 using a weather forecast model.

Their estimates agree. Just sayin'.
