This. This. THIS.

How it so often is though?

"Don't look at so bleakly. Glass half full and all!"
"Excuse me - what fucking glass?!"
"It's OK, we'll *rent you one*. See, a glass!"
"Phew! How lucky we are!"

Corp Media: "BREAKING! Both sides have come to an agreement!"

Problem "solved".
One thing that NZers need to understand is that going for 100% completion on the original Rogernomics agenda is not a reversible thing. We will need to transform all this wreckage into something new. We can't just "rebuild", as has been proven many times over.

This is quite a good RNZ article article about PFAS 'forever chemicals' in whales. What it doesn't tell you is that Dupont knew these chemicals were dangerous and kept it secret. And now they are everywhere www.youtube.com/watch?v=SC2e... www.rnz.co.nz/news/nationa...
'Forever chemicals' in New Zealand whales and dolphins
Species feeding mid-water were just as exposed to PFAS as coastal Māui dolphins or deep-diving species like beaked whales, new research found.

I will continue to have my serious issues with center leaning Democrats but this is the needed energy and I appreciate that he's bringing.
Mark Kelly: "The message he sent a couple days ago was he declared that loyalty to the Constitution is now punishable by death. Those are serious words coming from the president. He's trying to intimidate us. But I'm not going to be intimidated."

Who cut the $1000 Kickstarter? National
Who reduced the minimum contribution to 3%? National
Who reduced the member tax credit from $1040 to $521? National
Who then reduced the same member tax credit from $521 to $260.72? National.

Don't believe National on Kiwisaver.

I once knew a Federal bank examiner, and one time someone asked him why we had to KEEP inspecting banks over and over. He basically said every new batch of business school grads invents bank fraud from first principles.
AirBnB CEO calling it “vibe revenue” just 👨‍🍳 😘

The underlying cause of every bubble - debt masquerading as financial innovation - depends on not just short financial memory & speculative neophytism, but reinventing jargon of finance, like how each generation of kids has new ways to say same things.

Imo this is on the same spectrum as the PoliceNZ scandal. Attacking women should be a disqualifier for any role and definitely an sppoitment that gives you power over others #nzpol 1/2

Women’s lives, our reputations, our safety are discounted. Misogny in action.

Has he ever actually bought groceries?

A QR code on the shelf is no good. I may well need to know what information when I'm at home. I mean sure, maybe I read it before purchasing, but that might have been weeks ago. I'm going to want to double check.

Also I don't believe this is a big issue.
These guys are dangerous idiots. It's tiresome enough already having to read, and re-check, the labels on everything that I eat, and now they want to have me scan a QR code to get to that information.
