Google summary says rooftop solar is popular and increasingly so, but 2025 google maps imagery begs to differ. Maybe I'm just having very bad luck with where I look.

I love it. Leads me to wonder, with prices like those why there appears to be no rooftop solar there. I had a quick scan around on maps and there's just no panels anywhere. Grid battery + lots of rooftop solar = resilient and shouldn't need any centralised generation at all, solar or otherwise.
