My usual bio is: "Pop culture and narcissism, from a chronically ill movie buff. I try to be one of the good randos." https://boxd.it/35y5

This, however, is mostly a doomscrolling, "spent 14 years on Twitter and it broke my brain" account.

rogue one is bad folks. i have believed this since i saw it in theaters and no subsequent rewatch has changed my mind. basically a chop job until the final sequence, which is good (for star wars)

I enjoy buying indie TTRPGs and immediately renaming them because the author decided to go with "game.pdf" or "final.pdf" (or "final1.pdf", which raises questions that ought to have been answered by the word "final"), but I think my favourite turned out to be named "pdf.pdf". Like, tell me nothing.

I'm sadly continuity-brained enough that I'm still annoyed they made "James Bond" Craig's pre-Service legal name instead of a collective workname/pseudonym. Was perfectly good fanon fig-leaf for "this never happened to the other fellow" 4th wall breaks and a spy who keeps telling everyone his name.
James Bond’s death in No Time to Die is causing a nightmare for the next film. Writers are stuck because Bond “was blown to pieces.”

Anthony Horowitz, author of three 007 novels, says:

“You can't have him wake up in shower and saying it was all a dream."

As the alleged centrist candidate Cuomo had the perfect opportunity to do a milquetoast John McCain style "no, Obama is not a secret Arab" repudiation of racist conspiracy thinking. Instead, he played along. Once again, demonstrably unqualified to lead NYC even setting aside his failures & disgrace.
This word creep is very prevalent in national political coverage, and my friends in the NY press have largely avoided this trap. But if Cuomo response to Sid Rosenberg is to laugh and nod and not tell him to shut up while immediately ending the interview, you’re agreeing to racist Islamophobia.

Americans want to watch charismatic people solve moderately difficult problems on a weekly basis. That’s it. And a group of fomo execs and techbros who don’t watch TV drove one of the most profitable industries in the US off a cliff rather than accept that.
Look what happenes when a TV show releases every year, with more than 8 episodes a season.

I deal with actors coming into an existing show, and when I first see them, I ask them if they have any tattoos or piercings I should know about. I'm just a lowly costume designer, but it seems like the DNC should add that line to their intake form.
