My usual bio is: "Pop culture and narcissism, from a chronically ill movie buff. I try to be one of the good randos." https://boxd.it/35y5

This, however, is mostly a doomscrolling, "spent 14 years on Twitter and it broke my brain" account.

rogue one is bad folks. i have believed this since i saw it in theaters and no subsequent rewatch has changed my mind. basically a chop job until the final sequence, which is good (for star wars)

Sympathy and solidarity. If I could choose between not having panic attacks, or not having had my heart attack, I'd eliminate the panic attacks, no question. Hoping that triggers and cues become more apparent for you over time; the actual episodes always suck but IME it does get easier. Be well.

The funniest "fix" to the Bond continuity problem would be to make the "James Bond is a Time Lord" chestnut canon. Craig's twin hearts restart, he regenerates as CGI Connery, and whooshes off in his TARDIS. The incandescent rage from the collision of those anti-fandoms could power the globe.

The impulse to euhemerize the character in a post-Bourne Cult of the Operator era was part a consistent element of the franchise: awkward delayed zeitgeist/trend-chasing that becomes an albatross around the franchise's neck. It's the most James Bond movie thing ever and should be embraced.

Today's Halloween "costume" was me cosplaying as a functional adult who is on time for absurdly early medical appointments, and also votes early.

As someone who normally keeps vampire hours, kind of fun to pretend to be a Daywalker today. Now I get to draw the blackout shades and slumber.

(unsolicited lifehackish advice from a stranger, but) taking photos of objects in situ before removal can be weirdly helpful to track exactly what was "lost" and how little you were actually engaged with it to begin with. Worst case you have a visual memento & know exactly what you need to replace.
