Bogdanovich launches this adaptation of the 1982 play onto the big screen with uniquely erratic energy. The nonstop momentum of this theater farce doesn’t quite translate the original stage experience even in the hands of its world class ensemble. It has its moments of electricity regardless.

It is almost universally the case that the re-designed home media packaging for movies pales in comparison to their original theatrical artwork in quality & iconography. One of the few exceptions to this rule is PREDATOR 2 (1990)
