The first car I bought with my own money was named Madame Psychosis. Also the reason I started using e-readers was when I decided to tackle Infinite Jest. I 100% started to read it for the bragging rights, but stayed for the its bizarre and intricate sadness.

The point here is to believe people when they tell you who they are. Gavin Newsom hangs out with Republicans because he likes hanging out with Republicans. This isn't 4-D chess. He wants to hang out with Ben Shapiro and Steve Bannon. When he says he agrees with them on things, it's because he does.

Folks saying this is just as bad, I need you to reread about reconstruction. Not holding people accountable is how we get into this position. Removing people who colluded with the administration in an authoritarian takeover of higher ed from their position is the most reasonable thing to do.
