Far-right billionaires spent upwards of ONE BILLION last year to get young voters for Trump. They think they locked Gen Z down for good.

But we’re already registering thousands of young voters to prove them wrong and win big next November.

Can you chip in? ⬇️

Holy shit. This is Angelo Elia, a legislative correspondent for Congressman Dave Taylor.

According to @rooster.info, during a Zoom meeting today, he had an American nazi flag displayed in the background.

Hey @jd-vance-1.bsky.social is this also a "college group chat" being ironic?

EXCLUSIVE: Capitol Police are investigating a swastika found in GOP Rep. Dave Taylor’s office.

“The content of that image does not reflect the values or standards of this office, my staff, or myself, and I condemn it in the strongest terms," Taylor said in a statement.
Capitol Police called to investigate swastika in GOP congressional office
An American flag altered to include an image of a swastika was found in Rep. Dave Taylor’s office.

But sure, we can pretend it's just a "college group chat" that's using Nazi language. We can pretend that the staffer-class of the GOP isn't proudly supporting Nazism.

Oh let me be very clear: the women are right. These folks are repulsive to everyone.

Did the drink cart run out of vodka?

The Young Republicans story makes sense once you remember these folks are repulsive to women and are making their inability to get laid into everyone's problem

3 weeks till Election Day and our @votersoftomorrow.org chapters are hard at work to register and turn out young Virginians!

Dozens of new voters registered at the University of Richmond!

Already on the watch list! Will hopefully get to it soon!

While I think that the whole removal process was very, very dumb. This doesn't make sense. Malcolm was also removed. He hadn't been "saying things the Dems didn't like."

Malcolm and David were both given the option to run again, David chose to focus on Leaders We Deserve. It's not a conspiracy.

Republicans should be careful about insisting that the Young Republicans are teenagers.

Donald Trump might want to walk into their dressing room.

VOT is not the party, we’re an outside organization focused on building a new generation of democracy defenders to fight against the fascists coming through TPUSA and Young Republicans.

I have to ask folks to donate because those far-right orgs have literally 10x the funds that we and partners do.

Also — is this screenshot not proving my point? David wanted to be involved in primaries, the DNC was trying to pass a neutrality pledge. David left and is now involved in primaries and the DNC is neutral.

Seems like everyone won.

I mean, I actually know all the people involved here and have had conversations about it with all of them.

VOT literally endorsed Graham jointly with David’s org yesterday, just a few hours before I amplified Malcolm’s comments.

They don’t play in every primary, so lots of clean primaries do still happen! And their favored candidate doesn’t always win.

On the Republican side, the NRSC often backs more moderate candidates. They often get beat by less-electable MAGA nuts.
santiagomayer.com
They fundraise similarly to other party committees (DNC, DCCC, DGA, etc.), both through high-dollar fundraisers, galas, and retreats, and through digital channels (text/email).

(c) … so they are at the forefront of candidate recruitment.

Similarly to their Republican counterpart, they often spend to support the primary candidate who they think is most electable (who they often recruited themselves). That candidate tends to be the Senate Democratic leader’s favorite.

Sure! The DSSC is the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee. It is largely directed by the Democratic Leader in the Senate (Schumer) and a Chair elected by Democratic Senators (Gillibrand).

Their role is to get Dem Senators elected… (c)
joanne47.bsky.social
So for those of the people in the back row: explain the DSSC role, who funds it and how do candidates get elected by constituents if no one at local level knows who the candidates are?

Rank-and-file Young Republicans are more upset at the guy who leaked their leadership’s Nazi group chat than they are at their leadership for being in a Nazi group chat.

All I’m gonna say about the Massachusetts Senate primary is that Ayanna Pressley would make for an incredible senator.

Please listen to Malcolm here.

The DNC does not get involved in primaries. Its role is to support the party’s nominees *after* the primary.

If you’re reading about the party backing Gov. Mills, that’s the DSSC, which is wholly separate from the DNC.

THE DNC AND ITS OFFICERS DO NOT ENDORSE IN PRIMARY ELECTIONS —PERIOD!

THE DNC IS NOT FOR— OR— AGAINST YOUR FAVORITE CANDIDATE. WE SUPPORT THE DEMOCRATIC NOMINEES CHOSEN BY VOTERS.

WE FOCUS ONLY ON BEATING REPUBLICANS SO GOVERNMENT WORKS FOR US.

THANKS FOR YOUR ATTENTION TO THIS MATTER!
