So tired of this nonsense, as if there never was a pandemic.

The UCP last night passed a motion to defund 3rd trimester abortions. Ones after 20 wk are cause medically necessary. So if passed into law in Alberta, if a woman’s life is endangered by a 3rd trimester pregnancy, & she can’t afford what they charge, she’d have to travel to another province or die.

A Laurentians emergency room nurse made ultra-marathon history this month. Sandra Lafontaine is the first Canadian woman to complete the Grand Slam of Ultra-Marathons, which consists of four major ultra-distance events, each spanning hundreds of miles, all finished within eight months.

I couldn’t agree more. Just despicable behaviour.
This is an incompetent company. They have a huge responsibility that they’re just dumping on citizens. Not one of their ‘customers’ would be excused by a corporation if they experienced major life disruptions and expected financial leniency.

Time for public ownership.

Creating a military conflict with Venezuela gives this administration a legal "hook" to invoke the Alien Enemies Act. In other words, the foreign war is being manufactured in order to facilitate court deference for its domestic mass deportation policy. It's a Stephen Miller Special.

It shows that children share the same core immune patterns - and, strikingly, some resemble those seen in chronic infections like HIV"

Danielle Smith tried to sell her federal-Alberta energy deal to the UCP convention crowd: tepid applause.
She told them that this proved Canada can work well for Alberta’s interests: loud boos.

This ain’t a base that wants Smith to work with a Liberal PM on a better industrial carbon tax.
