We still need to fight like we have a chance to stop this because we literally had eight Dems vote and if even one votes no it doesn’t go through on the next vote
What I mean is there is another vote that takes 60 votes before this passes the Senate. And we only need one d or one r to flip

A fantastic overview of all that’s wrong with Carney’s vision - or at least what we know of it so far. I’d like to think he’s got a plan for introducing more progressive policies at some point but I’m quickly losing hope. His values don’t seem to mean much.
So here's the favour I want to ask: if this post crosses your feed, please take this chance to support the Gitxsan and Gitanyow by watching our latest HGA and passing it on.

The average ACA benefit per month is up to $550 a person.
People want us to hold the line for a reason. This is not a matter of appealing to a base. It’s about people’s lives.
And working people want leaders whose word means something to them.

Carney’s next book should be called “Value($): Building a better world for very rich people, burning it up for everyone else.” Or: “How I caved to the oil and gas industry, and did it with a smile on my face.”

I had to take it off the last time I was in that building.

When are we going to stop denying what Covid is doing to us? Will increased cancer risks be the thing that scares people into paying more attention?
Study: Individuals with SARS-CoV-2 infection had significantly higher risks of developing HPV-related cancers: a 67% increase in cervical cancer, 131% in vaginal cancer, 98% in vulvar cancer, 92% in anal cancer, and 78% in oropharyngeal (throat) cancer.
