Within 30 days, 826 COVID patients vs 89 flu patients died; within 90 days, 1,391 COVID patients vs 149 flu patients died, showing worse outcomes for COVID-19.

Severe COVID may carry higher risk of long-term conditions requiring hospitalization through 6 months

BFF’s surgery went well and he’s out of the hospital.

however, they literally couldn’t sell him any meds because he still technically has MN medicaid.

a social worker has applied for state medicaid on his behalf but i am so worried about him not having post-surgery meds. esp for pain. 🫠

When I was homeless in 2019, the Salvation Army shelter refused to give me a bed (even though they were available), because I was on immunosuppressant meds and they didn’t want to be responsible or liable if I got more sick or died on premises. They’d rather I die on the street.
