Miller: Our Regina's transit usage has increased by over 30% but no one is focusing on that. But nobody is focusing on that, they're focusing on "I saw an empty bus once" which can happen when buses come on a route. #yqrcc

Miller: Transit [in Regina] is 50% the average of what cities are spending. I remember when we had to get buses that were abandoned by Moose Jaw. The only reason it's not worse now is b/c the federal govt provided $$ for transit. #yqrcc

Davies: We've seen decreases in crime severity index. We are still in top 10, unfortunately. But that is the unique challenge we face. Previous boards, we were not funded properly. There was officer burnout. We looked at proper staffing level & identified how many officers we needed. #yqrcc

Froh: In 2016 Regina had about 230k people & RPS budget was about $70mil. Now we have 275k people & request is for about $130mil. Have we seen population growth of about 18% & is it right the police budget is an 85% increase over that time? #yqrcc
