The Liberals have already invested in the companies needed to build the equipment here in Canada.

The wood most commonly used to build houses in Canada is called SPF - spruce pine fir.
It would be at the bottom of the this scale.
It is lightweight, easy to work with, holds nails well and is more flexible than the harder woods.
