Just gonna show this chart to everyone that complains about Joe Biden not dropping out soon enough or whatever.

America is a country full of obnoxious dipshits that have very strong opinions about things they know absolutely nothing about.

The 2024 Data Don't Lie:

The only issue voters can clearly associate with the modern D Party is support for gay rights.

That's it.

Voters are 50/50 on which party is on SS and Medicare.

Yes, really.

That's why we need to leave pound them on the economy and critical programs like Medicaid.

The antichrist isn't a person, it's more of a vibe.
tobellz.bsky.social
one of those "day ending in 'y'" things

I mean, I get what you're saying, but also, no. Not really. These guys were gambling their real money in a casino with no rules.
tobellz.bsky.social
I think this must be a bot

Your meme looks more like Paul Manafort.
tobellz.bsky.social
All I'm saying is your meme sucks because the person you seem to be trying to pillory is not accurately pictured.

Billionaires were a mistake.

And his answer is "We just wont ever do that!"

Like, man, how can it be that you've never read a book?
tobellz.bsky.social
Who is that even supposed to be?

My version of this is that Vought, Yarvin etc represent a kind of braindead right-Gramscianism, which leaves out all the interesting subtleties and treats civil society _only_ as a realm of indoctrination, where one ideological master-narrative can readily be substituted for another.

a key thing about vought — and all of these guys — is that they have a totally top down and hierarchical vision of the world. they believe that the cultural changes they hate can be turned off by destroying the federal government because they can’t imagine that they emerged bottom-up in society

What he’s railing against is a profound shift in culture, status… He’s obsessed with the idea that America is controlled by a leftist “ruling elite” - but “elite” isn’t defined socio-economically or by political power, it means something like: Getting to define “real America” and who gets to belong.

Imagine being a global hegemon and losing every trade war you start.
tobellz.bsky.social
We fall back on "thank goodness America's fascists are so stupid" as our only potential saving grace which isn't really much better than a coin flip.

That they spend so much time believing that they're secretly popular that by the time they realize the need for violence they lack any support at all

Good trigger discipline from the DRUGS guy.

Trump's charisma is often talked about, but it's like dark matter to me. I don't see it and can only hypothesize its existence based on the behavior of the people around him.

Almost like, as with everything, it's bullshit.

He pays people to like him.
tobellz.bsky.social
Technically, I think he changed VPs because the last one refused to participate in his coup.

Think of it more like a search engine with the added twist of diverting web traffic from its sources.

What's worse than the Federal gov't failing to pay their military? The Federal gov't paying the military with checks that bounce.
