He's bad. Everyone sees it now, right?

Looks like Russia AA shooting down a drone.

Can't be ruled out!

Zombie ideas, man.

Her boyfriend is a platypus.

Yeah, the review I watched (which was very positive) mentioned that the games tend to take longer than the advertised time.

I was surprised, honestly. But I think that's part and parcel of the engine building. Part of the fun is taking the time and seeing your long-game strategy pay off.

Looks interesting. Now you got me looking for new games to play. But really I just want my friends who play TM to come visit again!

If this ends up being straight terrorism the fact that the Trump administration has deprioritized everything other than immigration enforcement seems important.

One assumes they're having trouble with students stopping on the stairs.

But walking into a house with people who "like games" and sitting down to a full game of Terraforming Mars is a big ask. There's so much happening, so many little finicky bits, so many "wait! oops I forgot that mechanic" moments.

But that's what I love about it.

I'd never heard of it until just now (I saw you mention it and thought it might be an expansion).

I just watched a quick review to get a handle on the structure of the game and I would say that it sounds great! Different and I'm skeptical it would scratch the itch for me.

Such a beautifully designed (on every level) game. Just everything about it is interesting and fun.

Maggie Haberman did catch-and-kill journalism the right way.

"The emperor is naked, actually."

The surreal experience of living through the Trump era where every scandal imaginable is just obviously happening and everyone covering the White House pretends it isn't because they all think they're the con-men.

Have you considered going the other way? Poasting so hard through the winter that the heat generated by your poasts makes it feel like summertime.

You know, honeybee-style.

I mean, the simplest one is that Trump was unharmed.
November 27, 2025 at 12:11 AM
The only difference is optics. Whitmer's oval visit was staged by Trump's handlers to embarrass her.

Mamdani's visit, for reasons that are inexplicable, was staged to make him look really good.

i just want to have a period of time where i don't see a tragedy that appears to solidify Trump's rhetoric and not think immediately, without evidence..."they fucking did this...didn't they?"

America's political press is overrun by a cohort of people who believe they've transcended journalism.

Just listing Trump admin hiring streams is cheating.
November 26, 2025 at 8:47 PM
I wonder if there's a reason for that.
November 26, 2025 at 8:43 PM
Yeah, that's the point.

The "Value Over Replacement" for everyone in the Trump admin is so insanely negative.

"Dems are only competitive in blue states" narrative cannot fail, it can only be failed.

Soon, "Real America" will be like 300 guys and 200,000 cows in Kentucky.

Why would a news site in Australia show you a cable news interview with a relatively obscure and mostly powerless Senator in the United States?

Don't you think that's weird?
