I'll keep repeating it til' I'm blue in the face - making comics is actually an exceptionally difficult task. I'm quick as hell but each page I draw represents about 10-20 hours of work from writing to final output. I deserve to be paid for that work.

Leftists: WaPo is trash, it's run by oligarchs.

Also leftists: Look at this WaPo headline and get mad about it.
Democrats will line up behind the slogan of whichever 2028 presidential candidate wins the primary and it does not matter what slogan Hakeem Jeffries uses.

An entire WAPO column about how a house minority leader phrases his answers to reporters.
No value, no villain, no vision. Sounds like the tagline for the earnings call of a collapsing appliance retailer

"So we'll be voting for Dems?"

"I guess, though if I know those stupid feckless worthless Dems they'll just hand control back in 4 years to more fascists"

"Hm. Guess I won't vote then."

"Exactly. My job here is done. Those fascists sure will be sorry now!"

I genuinely can't believe I have to say this out loud, but I'll bet any amount of money you want that the 2028 Democratic nominee will have their *own* slogans, probably not whatever Hakeem Jeffries likes!

Some ppl have seemingly forgot that political news media spun up a "Biden secretly has parkinsons" story out of a doctor visiting the WH while the admin was working on Parkinsons policy or that Nuzzis big "Biden didnt remember me" piece was written when she was secretly working for RFK Jrs campaign
The actual "worse than watergate" scandal is how much news media collectively worked to ratfuck a Democratic presidency by largely inventing health/mental acuity concerns for hyperventilate about while largely ignoring the very real & worsening issues in front of their faces from Trump
Both taken this weekend:

This is infuriating on so many levels, but partly because it ignores Congressional intent to penalize immigrants who followed the rules. And partly because these are people who have done nothing wrong beyond trying to negotiate a broken system.

A lot of editors don't even know about media magnification. One of the shocking things - to me - when I left journalism school was how little editors knew about like the study of journalism as a discipline. It's a profession based in norms even if those norms are harmful.
Unfortunately, in US journalism it is considered neutral to spread a lie, but it is considered "biased" to call out a lie. So, there is a structural asymmetry that rewards colorful lies with virality.

To put it in perspective, the time period between Stegosaurus and T Rex is about 33% longer than the time period between T Rex and today
I don’t know a lot.

But I know a lot about dinosaurs.

Now we all know dinosaurs lived for millions of years right?

But does you mind actually wrap around how long they dominated for?

Lets get a little perspective.

Did you know Allosaurus never saw flowers but T.rex did?

Honestly, I think the people D&D as written is best suited for as players is children.

Because a child doesn't care about seducing the bar wench or engaging in realpolitik with the heads of state.

They want to go into a dungeon and kill monsters with swords and magic.
Yeah, the actual problem with D&D is that it was designed specifically for a game built around fantasy questing and combat, and has gradually expanded over 40 years to include a metric shit ton of other things that it wasn't originally designed for and the mechanics don't really work for it.
This is the stupidest possible angle to take about the very real problem that people want to role play in lots of ways that D&D isnt suited for but D&D has such crushing market share that people shoehorn their games into a system that actively resists them

If you want answers, invite actual experts. Look some people up. Do some “reporting” and find someone knowledgeable. Come on, already.
