not that strange, ROCm was just never an adequate competitor so even as AMD's drivers got better the nvidia hassle was worth it. Intel's oneAPI is the "we're the underdogs, how about one for *everything*" attempt and I wish them well, though

the problem with windows is 1) WSL doesn't get where I need to go, 2) I want something separated from my video games, and 3) I need/want/no,-need-actually better text-to-speech and I literally can't find anything that does what Hex for Mac does on Windows that *actually works*
