Many of his comments this year suggests he consumes a ton of popularist content and very little pointing out the many flaws in that thinking. I assume his peer group is the audience that consumes popularist content, so he would need real intentionality to get other perspectives.

How fast a student can answer the questions is a pretty poor measure of how well they absorbed that material for reasons many have already articulated here. This is an inherent limitation of timed tests and a good reason to grant accommodations to kids who need more time.

The whole idea that there needs to be an “allotted time” for tests is driven by arbitrary factors like how long the class period is, curriculum restraints, etc. But more importantly, tests are the least useful part of a class & I’d rather teachers spend time teaching, not optimizing test design.

Every time I've pointed out that the only thing exceptional about Epstein is the wealth, I get a lot of angry men insisting they're deviants & "normal" people (men) don't share those views of rape & children. And yet we see time again how similar happens in smaller communities.
This is why I hate the patriarchal mythology that proximity to girls makes them protective, particularly men but also patriarchal women. It doesn't make child rape abhorrent to them when it's in-group men, only as a weapon to other out-group men.
Notably, Kelly is the mother of a 14-year old girl. Like, I know she's a soulless propagandist, but how does she not hear herself in the context of being a mother?

I think this true and it’s what the 2028 primary, if it’s normal at all, must be about.
they spent 4 years studiously avoiding confrontations with the supreme court because they have no interest in court reform. they’re quiet about ICE because they do not want to a single thing about it when they have power. it’s a shitty reality to confront but it is the reality.
