I am very tired of this, but a quick review.

In America, it is legal for you to own your bullshit laser, no matter how it got into the county.

How you use your bullshit laser matters. Most jurisdictions escalate to felony for lighting up any law enforcement. Doing to them in the sky is ++Felony.

Merits aside, it is insanely easy to be caught if you do this and the punishment for doing this is much more severe than you’d guess.

A reminder for American writers: High tea is not fancier tea, it’s supper. It’s a more substantial meal with a main dish, rather than tea, biscuits, scones, little snack foods. And it’s high because it’s served on a high table — dining table height — not a low, tea or coffee table.

(Also less of a fan of excerpting from the middle of the book. Most of us, in a bookstore, read the first couple pages, not some random page in the middle. But since the excerpt is mostly to get an idea on pacing and narrator voice, it’s less critical, but it is annoying.)

After a year of using it, I love everything about Libro.fm except the lack of reviews. Having become accustomed to them with other major booksellers, I really do miss them, and very much want the feedback of “this book is disinformation written by a liar“ on certain books.

It’s… kind of at the intersection of sewing machine and piping bag. They print in layers, by laying down a thin stream of semi-melted plastic from the filament. So if the filament gets tangled, it can’t smoothly pull the filament, like if a spool of thread is tangled.

ICE has a history of preying on the most vulnerable and abusing people in their custody.

Many have died preventable deaths.

Two disabled people are currently being detained and denied all reasonable accommodations.

It’s eugenics. It’s cruelty for cruelty’s sake.

Why is no one talking about it? Where's the media? Where's the public outcry? Another example of the pervasive nature of ableism and how society views disabled people as expendable.

That’s why I’m convinced all those occurrences of fentanyl overdoses from using drugs secretly laced with fentanyl are the cops murdering people on purpose.

No one else hates drug users that much. No one. Only LEOs.
