My parents had two cats who had been dumped and mistreated and they mostly lived in the garden. They were a bit wild and skittish. Now after a year and half of patience, and a lot of treats, they are spoiled house babies, who only occasionally go out into the garden for sun baths.
What small, silly/delightful thing are you thankful for in 2025? (It has to be light, I'm gonna yell at you if you say "democracy" or something.)

I helped my dad make his pecan pie but I focused on the mixing part and not the measuring ingredients part and well. We put in 3x the amount of butter.

My mom told her physical therapist she wears a mask because her husband and daughter are immunocompromised. The PT said she is too but isn't worried bc she knows if she dies she is going to heaven. Then her co-worker yelled, “Shut up Debbie you wear a seatbelt and take blood pressure meds” 👀
