oh you can use the number pad via accessibility options to move the cursor? cool! well i can navigate to settings a tab down to accessibility via keyboard but then cannot tab over into the accessibility window to actually turn that on so 🙃

love to get brand new mouse and keyboard and have them just refuse to connect via bluetooth. it’s cool and good and not annoying that there’s literally no way to use a mac mouse wired. definitely not really annoying!!

I finally read that Peter Thiel essay about Alan Moore's WATCHMEN, and it's incredible that his actual argument is: "Moore argues that Ozymandias will fail because history defeats all world conquerers, and no victory is permanent. But maybe I, Peter Thiel, am built different?"

their pitch to voters: you’ll have a better spot in the hierarchy than you do now. dems pitch is “we’ll be competent managers and reward various interest groups whose causes may align with your values.” if you ask me, dems could do better. the bar is so low man. we can’t keep losing to these fuckers

They could be doing ~90% as much substantive damage on half the pushback and political self-harm. But they're fittingly emblematic for the era of "everything has gotten dumber." They're sloppy, inept, ham-fisted. Merits aside, the Court might be at its least intellectually adept in American history.
