I think Tarantino has made genuine masterpieces and I also think he doesn’t always understand what about his movies are great. He’s a brilliant technician and kind of accidentally good at writing. I don’t think he could correctly tell you what Once Upon a Time in Hollywood is about.

“TWBB is supposed to be a two-hander” is such a hilariously stupid misread of that movie. It’s so aggressively not supposed to be a two hander. Tarantino is a brilliant director but he’s borderline illiterate
