I would find this more persuasive if the central figure in this story didn’t get a high profile, prestigious, presumably highly paid job in journalism after one (1) year of unemployment (during which she got a book deal that presumably also pays extremely well)

I just think it’s interesting that Getting Married Today she says “why watch me die like Eliza on the ice” when Eliza famously does not die on the ice. Panic attacks be like that

Disgusted to hear of the targeted shooting of National Guard members in DC today. All Americans should unite in condemning and rejecting this violence. Sending prayers to these victims and their families, and thankful to the responders who acted so quickly.

Unfortunately the field of journalism is filled with failed writers so the idea that anything would come before a book deal is insane
I remember during the first Trump term, one journalist was furious that I criticized individuals that sat on stories for their books. He basically called me dumb and naive. I hope he’s doing poorly now. Sigh
New — I wrote about the myriad ways journalism’s moral rot manifests, and how our crumbling institutions have created the conditions for it to fester:

I have long posited that Daniel Craig's accent in Glass Onion is better than Knives Out because in Knives Out he is trying to do a real Southern accent and is bad at it but in Glass Onion he is just talking like Foghorn Leghorn, which is something a real gay Southern weirdo would do.
