These CEOs have to understand that no one in the working class cares what they think about work life balance, right? No one.

Do I just not like desert? I don’t want pie, pudding, cake, nothing. Just give me thinks that immediately cause high blood pressure.

I’ve significantly lowered the time the Dominican side of my family schedules dinner for. There’s a good chance we’ll eat before the last football game ends. 😂

My quibble is the vast majority of people are using AI to cheat, give themselves abs, or for porn, and that’s really how it‘s marketed to the general public.
People on BlueSky: AI is useless! A stochastic parrot!

Mathematicians/biologists/physicists: It is already helping us do frontier technical research and in some cases solve open problems arxiv.org/pdf/2511.16072

(There are of course, as always, many caveats, but the paper is genuinely remarkable)

Time to eat and enjoy your family. One can’t doom appropriately without rest. 😂

All the places I got my degrees from have been incredibly embarrassing this year. Welp. 🙃

It’s interesting, because DC isn’t very big, so you can play the ”close to the White House“ game by miles devoid of context.
I don’t know who needs to read this but the Farragut Metro station is not the White House.

I’m not saying they are lying, but I’m struck by how quickly people believe law enforcement that‘s become more and more compromised. Remember, when they claimed Kirk’s killer was trans? 🙃

I remember during the first Trump term, one journalist was furious that I criticized individuals that sat on stories for their books. He basically called me dumb and naive. I hope he’s doing poorly now. Sigh

Another book to add to the shelf, cite, and teach!

I’m late to the pie debate, but I chose to teach to a half empty room rather than eat pie at my son’s school. So…🤣

(Clears Throat) Every day Trump is allowed to remain president and remain a free man is a failure of multiple government institutions.

Yes, I am using my honorarium to get my PS5 because I deserve it!

Headed for another Yonkers Thanksgiving. Working on my DMX voice to fit in.

Explaining unnecessary death to me by saying “Darwin” is an automatic block. Y’all, that‘s the logic of white supremacists. Get it together.

There is no more important job for a parent than protecting their children. The rage I have for people letting their babies die from whooping cough to lean into conspiracy and stupidity. Enough already.

One of the special things about class before thanksgiving is because the numbers dwindle, folks that have wanted to speak the whole year start speaking. They may not be comfortable speaking with 264 in a room but 50ish folks seems inviting. I love it.

It’s just so much money and sacrifice to go to college to let AI write your work and to learn nothing. Absolutely nothing. Idk.

Bigotry thrives off imagination, especially of outcomes that have yet to occur.

My favorite thing as an academic is someone that says something is obvious and provides exactly 0 evidence that it’s obvious. 😂

“Trans athletes ruined women’s sports!” Says person that doesn’t watch women’s sports. A broad area btw. Which sport? 🙃
